Mission: 6 Deep In 2016
Texas Renegades put 4 of 5 teams in TYFA D1 Playoffs in the 2015 fall season. Our Flag level had a terrific run in the second half of the season. This run propelled them into a playoff spot. For a group of kids that had never played the game they exceeded expectations. The Future for the Organization looks bright with this young group of talent.
Our Midget level was a very scrappy and determined bunch. They never backed down and fought hard all year but came up just a little short. They didn’t make the playoffs, however they are poised to make a playoff run come 2016. Be on the lookout for this group.
The Rookie level was young in age but mature in mind. This veteran group of football players started the season with 1 goal to win State. They are a battle tested and extremely talented group that kept their composure all the way to State. They are the 2015 TYFA D1 Fall Rookie State Champs!!!!
With an endless supply of football talent our Junior level put on a show every game. They climbed the ranks to capture the 5th seed out of 21 teams in the playoffs. They had a great run in the playoffs and fail a few inches short in the 3rd round. They will be back stronger than ever come fall 2016.
The Seniors level talent pool was very deep and it showed game in and game out. They were a championship caliber team. They went in to the playoffs as a 6th seed. They lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs to the team that would eventually become the 2015 State Champs. It was a very tuff lost but rest assure they will be back with vengeance come 2016.
Our cheerleaders brought the noise all year long with style and grace. They are fierce competitors and ready at the drop of a hat to get the crowd roaring. They took home 3rd place in the 2015 TYFA State Cheer Competition. With 1st place insight the ladies are determined to bring home the gold in 2016.
